On Changing Reality

Quantum Wave Function (pre-matter)

The quantum wave function represents when and where something is likely to occur. The existence of a proton is just a probability-amplitude of the quantum wave function. There is the possibility that a proton could exist anywhere, but it is more probable that it exists bounded to a neutron with an electron circling (hydrogen).

Anything you could ever experience is a spacetime event. A spacetime event is something that has a location in space and a moment in time. A sunrise is a spacetime event. A birth is a spacetime event. A kiss is a spacetime event. A movie is a spacetime event. Even a thought… is a spacetime event. All of these and others you could think of are spacetime events that have certain probability amplitudes. However, not all spacetime events are experienced consciously, for example, the spacetime event of radio waves.

We do not experience radio waves on the conscious level. We experience the result of them through electronics. When you watch a television show, you are experiencing a non-local spacetime event. Non-local because you cannot determine where the information and energy is, except for the fact that the signal originates from a certain antenna. But once it is broadcast, that field of information and energy, which is the television show, becomes non-local because it is everywhere all at once, limited only by its original strength, the sensitivity of your television set, and which channel or frequency you are tuned to. Other than that, the television broadcast is non-local. I can experience the TV show at my home, and you experience the same show at your home.

You could then think of the body as a type of receiver manifesting a spacetime event…you.

The quantum wave flows between two events like a river. Then, it reverses in spacetime and flows back. The wave is multiplied by its “complex-conjugate” to produce the probabilities of the universe. Notice that in order for you to be aware of your reflection in a mirror, you need to forget about your self. You are aware of the reflection now. Then immediately, your awareness shifts back to your self. The two spacetime events, self and reflection, are a result of the flow of consciousness from your self to your reflection. Earlier I said that thought was a spacetime event with a certain probability amplitude based on the quantum wave function. The quantum wave function of you flows to the quantum wave function of your reflection. Then, it reverses in spacetime and flows back to you. This is how we experience reality; a shifting flux betwixt you and the world.

All the universe is, is the universe looking at itself through itself.

Thoughts affect the strength of the quantum waves.

 

A chair isn’t a chair until it is observed.

Atoms have no real defined boundaries. The location of the chair’s “particles” are merely probabilities based upon each particle’s quantum wave function. The definition of an atom’s size and shape is determined by the 90% probability that the particle is manifested at a certain location. Since an electron can be literally anywhere, we use 90% since we can only determine its position and direction one at a time. There is a 90% chance that an electron is circling a nucleus. The other 10%? Well, the electron could be in an infinite number of locations or traveling in an infinite number of vectors. Until the chair is observed, its particles have an infinite number of locations and vectors. Our scrutiny “forces” the particles to have a 90% certainty of their location in spacetime.

 

Wave-Particle Complementarity (consciousness and oblivion)

When we observe the behavior of light it seems to behave in one of two ways; as a particle or as a wave. All particles exhibit this complentarity. When we observe an electron as a particle, then all the other electrons we measure behave as particles. On the other hand, when the electron appears as a wave, then, no matter how many other electrons we observe, no particle behavior can be ascertained. Is the electron or photon behavior actually different? Their phenomena continue no matter how we perceive them. Perhaps it is our perception that keeps changing. If so, we cannot trust anything we perceive as actual. Are you actually reading this sentence, or is this sentence becoming your thought?

 

Parallel Universes

At any point in spacetime, all events have equal probability. However, some spacetime events are more probable than others. When you flip a coin, both heads and tails are equally probable. We could never “see” both happen at the same time. However, both do happen simultaneously. We are only conscious of one of the probabilities; either heads or tails. If both happen, yet we are only witnessing one, what does that mean? It means that there is more than one universe. In one universe, the coin lands head up. In another universe, the coin lands tail up. We are in both of those universes at once. Each “you” is unaware of the other. Since quantum waves have flux between all events, then the different probable universes are connected through the quantum wave function. If thoughts are quantum wave functions, could we be actually traversing to the universe where our choice manifests? I want heads to occur. When heads manifests, did I manipulate the outcome, or did I shift into another universe where heads happened? Luck is a fickle phenomenon at best. When I win a game of chance, what actually occurs?

Though there are many universes and we are not aware of them albeit one, they should at least interact with each other at some level. They, after all, are reciprocating quantum waves. They reflect each other. This interaction is their superposition, which creates new possibilities. Perhaps by adding different wave branches together, let’s say the “head-wave” and the “tail-wave”, we could summate a wave where the coin lands on edge. In magic, when different probabilities create a new, unique probability, this is called The Law of Synthesis.

 

Dark Energy?

Astronomers and cosmologists have come to realize that their estimate for the mass of the known universe is somewhat off. There must be some previously unmeasured or unseen mass or energy to account for their scientific observations. Until recently, they had delivered dark matter. These strange particles do not interact with light yet they compose most of our universe’s mass. Grrreat! We have an explaination. Aren’t humans smart? Wait a minute… new measurements. Damn. Ordinary matter and dark matter combined still don’t add up to half the universe! What else could there be? Aha! Dark energy!

This energy’s gravity does not attract. It repels. So… Was there really a big bang then? Well, if this dark energy is responsible for expansion, the big bang doesn’t seem all that big. We were looking at cosmic expansion as an explosion that hurled energy and eventually matter into what we now call the universe. That is why there is a mass problem. We observe the universe as the result of an explosion (of certain mass), but it doesn’t act exactly like an explosion. Duh! We have known for years that everything is moving away from everything! There is no epicenter! We detect background radiation, but it’s not coming from any specific direction. It is everywhere.

Could this dark energy be a current in the aether? Of course, it would take billions of years, but if we were to map the speed and direction of the galaxies, I’m sure we would observe a swirling motion. Like cream in one’s coffee, except on a larger scale (fractal motion).

Perhaps the big bang isn’t the creation of our universe, but the creation of each individual particle. That background radiation is proto-matter popping in and out of existence. Hydrogen seems to be the first element to manifest and be pushed by the dark energy flux. Hydrogen bunched together through their own gravity in “pockets” of low flux while there was virtually no hydrogen in the “streams” of higher flux. Perhaps dark matter is the catalyst for these “pockets”. We may be looking at the creation of the universe in the wrong way. It wasn’t an explosion from which all matter and energy came. Could it be an incessant process of matter flowing from an unmanifest state into the universe via dark energy? Like water from a spring?

In terms of magic, one could say “the intent of a magus’ desire spirals into the unmanifest which immediately spirals back and manifests the desire”. In terms of religion, one could say “God’s word moved upon the face of the deep and the world was created”. Is this spiraling dark energy the reciprocation of “God’s word”? (RE: Quantum Wave Function)

I believe these concepts are a step toward the true nature of the universe.
